Michael Saville was born and raised on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada. During his college years he studied History at the University of Victoria, and, more importantly, came to know the grace of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sensing a call to the pastoral ministry, Michael studied for a Master of Divinity in Edmonton, Alberta and later received a Master of Theology from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Before moving to Fort Erie, Pastor Michael served congregations in Bellevue, Washington and Helena, Montana.

Believing that the church is to be exposed to “the whole counsel of God,” Michael has made expository preaching through books of the Bible a major focus of his ministry. Additionally, he has sought to emphasize reverent Christ-centred worship, biblical family life, and the Great Commission. His favourite Christian writers include John Calvin, C.H. Spurgeon, C.S. Lewis, and John Frame.

Michael is happily married to Rachel, and together they have three daughters: Madeleine, Elizabeth, and Emma. Rachel is a stay-at-home mom who stays busy with homeschooling, sewing, and driving the kids to piano and other activities. The Saville family enjoy reading stories together, singing Psalms, and playing tennis at the Fort Erie Tennis Club.
