What God wants is us to know about angels, which contributes to our eternal perspective.
Devotion: Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14) but they are also fellow servants with us.
The angel told the apostle John, “I am your fellow servant” (Revelation 19:10) How incredible! Alongside angels we are serving the Lord of hosts. There could be no higher calling.
Pray for each other as brothers and sisters in Christ for blessings in abundance. Our Lord listens and answers these petitions. I have some names that can be added to your daily devotions.
1) Elsie
2) Marilyn
3) Pat and Alex
4) Sue and Matthew
5) Claudia
Prayer, when someone says the word hope….people usually think of the future, eg. ”I hope things get better….I hope I get the job….I hope I don’t get sick.” These are no more than wishes based on personnel desires. All can be shattered when reality barges in like a raging bull-trials land on us and joy languishes.
Maybe you are blessed right now to be in a sunny season of life, far from trials. If so, be grateful and praise God. But know that one day trials/tribulations will enter your life and are the very means God uses to mold us into his image. Whether you are facing trials now or preparing for the trials that will eventually come- rejoice, knowing that through every hard thing we suffer in life, we share with Christ.
1 Peter 4; 12, 13, Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice in so far as you share Christ’s suffering, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
There are angels surrounding us always. Never lose hope or faith in our Lord. God’s word + prayer = POWER.
Remember God loves you always. Talk with him daily, be connected.
Prayerfully yours,
Nancy
