Message: Every Christian should have a passion to please God. We are to delight in honouring Him. It is our greatest pleasure to please our redeemer.
Devotion: I love you best
God, help me in my own small way to somehow do something each day to show You that I love You best and that my faith will stand each test.
Psalm 116:10, I believed; therefore I said, “I am greatly afflicted.” Today accomplish at least one act of kindness no matter how small or insignificant it may seem.
Scripture: Psalm 4:5, Offer right sacrifices and trust In the Lord pray for each other. In this world you will have troubles, but trust in God and He will lead you. I have chosen some names to pray for blessings in abundance. Add them to your daily devotions.
1) Kaye
2) Carol
3) Maureen and Russ
4) Jenny
5) Joanne
Daily prayer is and should be our utmost priority. There are so many crisis and situations in the world now. I have listed some suggestions that you can add to your daily devotions.
Pray for:
Faith reformed church, it’s ministries and leaders.
Our consistory at Faith reformed and it’s search for a new Pastor.
World peace
Israel, and all the nations in battle at present.
Soften the hearts of the leaders who can change these situations to good.
The poor and needy
The homeless.
Those who do not know the Lord.
Repentance for all the world.
The elderly.
Children around the world for safety.
The local farmers and migrant workers to be safe and well.
A fruitful growing season for abundant crops.
Healing mercies.
Thankfulness for prayers answered.
Those in nursing and retirement homes.
Those suffering with addictions and their families.
Those in end of life situations.
Our fall bazaar and upcoming garage sale.
Those incarcerated.
All creatures great and small.
My prayer for all is to love one another and show kindness. Read your bible, know and understand the Holy Word. Say a little prayer and all will be well. God’s word + prayer = POWER
