Prayer Corner: Week of July 28th

Prayer Corner: Week of July 28th

Have you ever been asked, “why should I read my Bible?” As Christians

We are encouraged to read the Word daily. It can be such a source of

Comfort and answer to situations in our lives. I have listed some reasons

Or an outcome of reading your Bible and the blessings received.

We will be encouraged to pray more regularly.

We will be stimulated to know God better through prayer.

We will be moved to intercede for others, and challenged to become

More of a person of powerful prayer.

What is prayer?

Prayer is an act of faith. Prayer is talking to someone you can’t see,

About something you don’t have, with not visible means of obtaining it.

As we have read about  Abraham in our Bible, that’s exactly what his life

Was like……living a life of faith. He provides a wonder lesson for us.

Our own trust may falter from time to time as it di with Abraham. As time

Goes by, we see that prayers were answered as we taste more and more

Of God’s  goodness, your faith grows. Doubts and fears fade, to be

Replaced by a steadfast confidence in God. How sweet is this !!

Pray for each other for blessings in abundance as we are all brothers

And sisters in Christ. All are made in the image of God. Rejoice in

Everyday here in this world and glorify the name of God in all we do.

I have chosen some names that we can add to our daily devotions.

Some may have gone or going through crisis. In all incidents pray for

God to give blessings in abundance.

    1) Joy,Jeremy, Anthony and Bella

    2) Pat and Alex

    3) Vida

    4) Cathy

    5) Mabel and Bert

My prayer for all is to love one another as we love ourselves. Be kind and

Respectful of all. Remembering that God loves you always.

God’s word + prayer = POWER
