Holly Daze was a success! Under Judy Wood’s leadership and the participation of many
churchgoers, young and old alike, we were able to serve a delicious lunch of cabbage soup, apple crisp and a hot or cold beverage to dozens of community members. The bake table alone raised almost $1500 (that’s a lot of pies, cookies, tarts and boterkoeken)! Jewelry and crafts also yielded great results. All the while we were treated to Christmas songs by Phyllis.
Thank you to everyone who organized, set up, sold tickets, designed placemats, sang, baked, cooked, sewed, knitted, donated, served food, cleared tables, worked in sales, worked in the kitchen, cleaned up, greeted our neighbours and made everyone feel welcome. It was a blessing to all who served and attended. To God be the glory!
