Prayer Corner: Week of April 17th

Prayer Corner: Week of April 17th

Message: In love, the Son of God literally gave Himself for me. This puts in personal terms the great transaction of Calvary.

We all may get sick at some time in our life or see family, friends ill. It can be very upsetting to see that person suffering. Our God does not want us to be afraid or anguished. His Holy Spirit teaches us to sing, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” Psalm 23:4-6.
Go, tell the Lord of His own promise, and you will look forward to death without fear and be able to sing.
Knowing as I am known,
How shall I love that
    Word,
  And oft repeat
Befor the throne,
Forever with the
    Lord!
That resurrection
    Word,
That shout of victory,
Once more, forever with the Lord!
 Amen-so let it be.

Pray to our Father, when anguished with illness and He listens and answers prayers. All is in God’s timing and we can know as His children prayer in not invain.
Pray for this world and it’s troubles.
Pray for our families, our children and church. Remember God loves us always. God’s word + prayer= POWER!

In this Lenten season, holiest of days, think and repent. Jesus died for us all and took upon himself the sin’s of the world. God sacrificed His only son for us. What a privilege for us as Christians.
Christ has risen! May your Easter be joyous.
