Sufficient Grace
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do you find you have attempted some things that were far beyond your capacity, but because you rely on the Lord, you did not fail. I know in my life I have sought God’s help and aid many times and He has heard my prayers.
He has said, just ask and you will receive. Prayer and a relationship with God can accomplish this.
It is not perhaps or a possibility, I know that my Lord answers. As rain clouds bring showers, prayer brings blessings. As spring scatters flowers, prayer, earnest prayer ensures mercies.
We put trust in the money we have. That when we buy something our money is good, we know this. In the same way, I put my trust in God’s promises, and will always do so because God hears prayers. Remember to offer them in submission to God’s will. “Nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will” (Matt. 26:39). He does not always give you what you ask for, but He does give what is best. I love this: He does not give the mercy we ask for in silver, He provides it in gold. Prayer + God’s word = power.
Pray for each other. We are brothers and sisters in Christ. Love each other and have compassion with kindness. Ask God to give them the peace of Jesus to dwell in their hearts.
