Prayer Corner: Week of July 4th

Prayer Corner: Week of July 4th

Prayer principles from the life of Jeremiah.

Prayer is your response to God’s working. God is constantly at work in

History, in your life and the lives of those around you. We feel the impact of

God’s works in this world and it profoundly effects our spiritual being.

How do you spiritually respond to the events in your life? Do you count

Them as chance or luck? We should see them as God at work. Through

Prayer choose to enter what God is doing and become partnered with Him.

Prayer strengthens your relationship with God.

Our relationship with God is our utmost important relationship of all.

This must be nurtured, by prayer and His word. Read your Bible daily.

Jeremiah battled forty years the spiritual apathy of the Israelites. They

Hated him but he was never alone. He had a close and comforting

Relationship with God that pulled him through these times.

We all feel alone or misunderstood from time to time by our own

Family or friends because of our beliefs. We too are not really alone, God

Is ever present. Spend time strengthening your relationship with Him in

Prayer today. At times this relationship may be all you have, but it will be

All you need.

Pray for each other also, as we are brothers and sisters in Christ. I have

Chosen a few names you can add to your daily devotions.

    1) Sue and John

    2) Linda S

    3) Marlene and Ken

    4) Margaret D

    5) Susan and Boyd

Pray for all who do not know the Lord and may all come to repentance.
