Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Father,
We come to you today, confessing that we fall short. We know better, but we continue to in. Please forgive us. We ought to spend more time in prayer, more time in your word, and more time serving you and not ourselves. We know that this is what deepens our faith and lightens our load. You bring us peace. Fill us with your Spirit and help us to live in gratitude for what Jesus has done for us. Help us to guard our tongues and encourage the saints.
Help us to be good examples of how to walk the Christian walk by being filled with the truth, compassion, and love of Jesus. Help us to keep our thoughts pure, joyful and loving, so that our words and actions may be the same. LORD, help us we pray.
