Daily Light Devotional: Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105)
October 2 2026
Text: Psalm 119:65
Do good to your servant according to your word, Lord.
Scholars estimate that there over 8000 promises in the Word of God. And these promises are designed for the people of God to know the goodness of God. And the more we know and read these promises, the more that we will personally know the Lord. The problem is that too many of us are not diving into the Word. And because we don’t, we fail to see both the promise and the goodness of God. So its time to start eating and digesting the Word of God.
How are you doing with reading the Word and know the Lord?
Prayer; Heavenly Father, thank you for the knowledge that there are so many promises of God in the Bible. Help me to digest the Word, so I can know your promises and thereby know the goodness of God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
