Daily Light Devotional: Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105)

Text: Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
There is a contemporary praise song (mainly for kids) that is titled – “Our God is a great BIG God”. And that is absolutely true – God is a great BIG God, and He does great BIG things. And often times He wants to use us to accomplish those great big things. And that is something that we often struggle with – the things that God wants to do through us.
But notice what the text from Ephesians says – God is able to do it “through us… through His mighty power at work within us”. We have the power of Almighty God, the power of the Holy Spirit working in us – enabling us to do more than we could ever ask or imagine.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for all the incredible assignments that you have, that we cannot accomplish. Thank you that they are achievable by the “power at work in us”. I surrender to you Holy Spirit, release that power in me today, that Almighty God might be glorified. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
