Daily Light Devotional: Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105)
October November 3 2026
Text: Psalm 119:87
They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.
Throughout the history of the Church, many have been persecuted for their faith. Leaders, preachers and everyday people were tortured because of their faith. They were being tortured to renounce their faith in Jesus, many did not. How could they endure such torture? They endured because the Word of God was their strength. They knew that the Lord is faithful to His Word and faithful to His people. It absolutely essential that when you are feeling like the world is trying to wipe you from the earth, the Lord is there for you. You must stand firm on the Word of God and He will carry you through.
Prayer: Father God, thank you for the steadfastness of your Word, that it is completely reliable and can keep me anchored when time are tough. Whatever comes at me this day, I yield it all to you. Be glorified din and through me. In Jesus;’ name I pray. Amen.
